HISTORY Michelle's Greenhouses has been in business since 1995. For those loyal customers who have been with us since the beginning, you'll remember that it all began when Michelle was 10 years old. She started out on her own with three greenhouses. Each year she worked an increasing number of hours before and after school, added a new house each year, and continued to increase her stock. She continued to build the business and began attending Bridgewater State College while still a freshman in high school. Three years after graduating from high school she earned a bachelor's degree in business administration. The result of her hard work is what you see today when you visit us. Michelle's is open for the spring/summer and fall seasons. In keeping with the family's entrepreneurial spirit, two of Michelle's siblings also own their own businesses. TODAY We now have 10 greenhouses and over 25 thousand square feet of retail space. Our display area shows off a sample of what we have to offer, but be sure to roam through the greenhouses for a larger selection. In addition to this area our large perennial section is partially covered, making it a perfect shopping experience rain or shine. The perennials also have a shaded area to protect shade - loving plants that would otherwise be damaged by the direct sun. In the spring we start out with 1000's of perennials for you to choose from. Be sure to shop early for the best selection. We also carry vegetables and herbs as well as potting soil and soil amendments. WHY US ? Unlike the typical garden center that sets out a variety of plants for you to choose from, at Michelle's you are free to roam through all ten of our retail greenhouses and outdoor space, allowing you a much greater selection. While someone is readily available to assist you, there's no need to rush. Take your time and explore all we have to offer.
